If reports are anything to go by, then the Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das starrer 'Go Goa Gone' is now gearing up for a sequel. According to reports, Kunal recently confirmed the news stating. ‘Go Goa Gone’ was an entertaining zombie comedy and the team is planning to add some more interesting characters to the cast, though it is said that Saif will once again play Boris, the zombie slayer in the sequel.
The characters played by Vir and Kunal will be seen in the sequel too.
Saif Ali Khan‘s 2013 venture ‘Go Goa Gone‘ gave the Indian audience a unique zombie comedy. Helmed by Raj & DK, the film also starred Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das and Anand Tiwari in pivotal roles. The 2013 film won everyone’s hearts with its unique sense of humour. According to a report in DNA, Saif starrer ‘Go Goa Gone’ is getting a sequel. Yes, you read that right. The report also suggests that the characters played by Vir and Kunal will be seen in the sequel as well.
Confirming the news, Saif, in a statement to DNA, said, “We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script.”
Talking about the cast of the film, a source revealed to the tabloid, “There will be another supporting actor as well as a heroine, who will aid Boris in his mission. The casting will be underway in a month’s time. On the professional front, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in the first Indian Netflix original series, Sacred Games. Helmed by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane, the series also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Radhika Apte, Surveen Chawla and Kubra Sait in pivotal roles. The eight episodes series will premiere on July 6, 2018.
