Instead of the quick support client, you should install the full TeamViewer on your mother's computer. There you can set it to allow remote access at any time without your mother touching anything. That's what I do when helping my 98 year old friend across town.

When I remote in to my computer at home from work and then disconnect... I can later log in and all my programs are still Open. I like this.
But when I log into Work from home sometimes I get disconnected, when I reconnect with RDC I get my normal Network login and then All programs are closed. I want them to stay open if and when I disconnect. Since both my Home and Work PC are Windows XP Pro I figure there must be a setting I can change so that my programs will remain open..
I guess so that the Remote PC just locks the terminal instead of LOGGING off when it gets disconnect.
I've looked under session in the Group Policy Editor but there isn't anything about Disconnects. Please Help!!!
